Pastoral Care Training within a Retreat Setting in

The Canberra and Region Centre for Spiritual Care and Clinical Pastoral Education Inc is pleased to present
A new form of pastoral care training
within a retreat setting
At The Sanctuary in Central Tilba.
It will include all requirements for a basic or advanced unit of Clinical Pastoral Education as well as the opportunity to use the beautiful grounds of The Sanctuary for reflection, prayer, meditation and fellowship.
The Sanctuary, 39 Bate Street, Central Tilba, NSW.
The training consists of 10 two day gatherings beginning on Wednesday the 15th July 2009.
People who have to travel to attend will be given free accommodation at nearby Bellbrook Farm and may arrive the night before.
Groups sessions will be held on the Wednesday and Thursday mornings; individual supervisions on Wednesday afternoon.
Group members can leave after lunch on Thursday.
Lunches will be provided at a cost of $5 and the evening meal on Wednesday for $10. Group members are invited to bring what they need for breakfasts, and to provide their own bed linen and towels. Full facilities will be available.
The session dates are July
15,16; July 29,30; August 12,13; August 26,27; Sept 9,10; October 7,8; October
21,22; November 4,5; November 18,19; December 2,3.
Applicants will be expected to have completed an introductory unit of CPE or already have some pastoral care experience. Applicants will be interviewed. Successful applicants will receive reading material and requirements before the first session on the 15th July.
